The Advanced Umpire Clinic will take place this Sunday, March 6th from 8:00am to 4:00pm at NCLL (Vallejo Mills Elementary). 

This clinic will cover both Plate Mechanics and Base Mechanics.  This clinic is open to all experience levels and would be good to advance the knowledge of the students that just completed the Beginning Umpire Clinic this past weekend. (If you did not go to a clinic last weekend, you can still attend this one!!!)

If you attend, please wear comfortable clothing and shoes to perform the drills planned for the clinic. You will be “on the field” for both the base umpire and plate umpire portions.  If you have your own plate gear (shinguards, chest protector, mask – catcher’s equipment is just fine!) please bring it.  I will have some equipment available for you to use.  (If you only have a mask, go ahead and bring just that as looking at the pitch through the mask is what we will be learning.)  Please note – all the drills will be “soft toss” (using a soft tee ball) as the goal is to learn the mechanics in a safe way.
